NEXORA 2025 was a Volunteer Awareness Session jointly organized by the IEEE Student Branch, the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group, and the IEEE Computer Society (CS) Student Branch Chapter of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. The main objective of this event was to introduce undergraduate students to the importance of volunteering and the various opportunities available through IEEE. The session aimed to increase awareness about IEEE membership, leadership development, professional growth, and community engagement. It encouraged first-year and second-year undergraduates to actively participate in IEEE activities and develop a strong interest in volunteering. Through structured presentations, guest speaker sessions, volunteer experience sharing, and interactive discussions, participants gained valuable insights into how volunteering with IEEE can enhance technical knowledge, communication skills, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
