The 12-Hour Physical Datathon of Codemania v6.0 marked the Grand Finale of the competition, bringing together the top-performing teams selected through the Virtual Hackathon Phase. This final stage was designed as an intensive, overnight datathon where participants collaborated in teams to analyse datasets, derive meaningful insights, and develop data-driven solutions within a limited time frame. Throughout the competition, teams worked on a series of analytical challenges that required strong problem interpretation, data pre-processing, and the application of data science and machine learning concepts. Participants were encouraged to approach problems creatively while maintaining efficiency and accuracy in their analytical methods. To maintain participant engagement and well-being during the long competition period, scheduled breaks were provided, including a dinner break, refreshment sessions, and a short entertainment activity organized to keep the energy levels high. These intervals allowed participants to recharge before continuing their analytical work. Following the conclusion of the datathon, a judge review session was conducted where a panel of judges evaluated the submitted solutions. The evaluation focused on the teams’ analytical approaches, accuracy of insights, innovation, and the overall effectiveness of their solutions. The 12-Hour Physical Datathon successfully created an immersive and competitive environment that emphasized teamwork, critical thinking, and real-world data problem-solving. It effectively reflected the core objective of Codemania v6.0 by bridging academic knowledge with practical data-driven applications.
