TechXChange is an educational initiative by the IEEE Student Branch of Curtin University Colombo , designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by connecting students with leading experts in emerging technologies. In this session of TechXChange, we were honored to host Professor Thrishantha Nanayakkara , Director of the Morph Lab and Professor of Robotics at Imperial College London. Professor Nanayakkara shared his insights on embodied intelligence in robotics , exploring how controllable stiffness and physical mechanisms enable robots to perceive, adapt, and interact with dynamic environments.
