Description

The Executive Committee meeting of the IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES) Student Branch Chapter focused on reviewing the chapter’s past activities and planning the future operational structure of the chapter. During the meeting, members discussed previously conducted events, evaluating their outcomes, strengths, and areas for improvement to enhance the impact of future activities. A key objective of the meeting was to clearly define and assign responsibilities among the Chapter Executive Committee (ExCom) members . Roles such as Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and other supporting positions were discussed to ensure effective coordination in organizing technical events, managing finances, handling documentation, and promoting chapter activities. By distributing responsibilities among members, the chapter aims to improve teamwork, streamline event management, strengthen member engagement, and ensure the successful implementation of upcoming PES initiatives and programs throughout the year . The meeting served as an important step in establishing a structured workflow for the chapter’s operations and future activities.
