AUTOSYS 2026 concludes with the Automation & Robotics Innovation Competition designed to challenge students to develop practical engineering solutions for real industrial automation problems. Participants will work in teams to design innovative automation concepts inspired by real-world industry scenarios such as manufacturing systems, logistics automation, energy management, and smart infrastructure. The competition consists of two stages: 1. Preliminary Submission Teams submit their proposed automation solutions through an online platform including system architecture diagrams, automation workflows, and PLC or robotic system simulations. 2. Final Presentation Shortlisted teams present their solutions to a panel of industry professionals and academic experts. Projects are evaluated based on feasibility, scalability, technical innovation, and practical implementation. Expected Deliverables include: • Automation process flow and control logic • PLC or robotic system simulation • System architecture and integration diagrams • Cost and feasibility analysis
