FRONTIERS IN TECH 10.0 was organized as an online knowledge sharing session aimed at enhancing the technical skills and industry awareness of participants. The session focused on introducing Version Control Systems and GitHub , providing a clear understanding of how modern developers manage, track and collaborate on source code efficiently in real-world software development environments. Through this session, participants were able to learn the importance of version control in team projects, how Git helps in maintaining different versions of code and how GitHub is used as a collaborative platform in the software industry. The program helped students gain practical knowledge that is highly useful for academic projects, research work and future careers in the IT field. To make the event more interactive and engaging, a quiz competition was conducted after the session to evaluate the understanding of the participants. The activity encouraged active participation and reinforced the knowledge gained during the session. A special appreciation was awarded to the best performer of the quiz, recognizing their enthusiasm, accuracy and quick thinking. Overall, the event successfully created an opportunity for students to explore modern development tools, improve their technical knowledge, and engage in a competitive and enjoyable learning experience.
