IX 25 | Grand Finale

The Final Pitch and Award Ceremony marked the successful culmination of the IX 25 initiative. Following the Concept Round 10 finalist teams were selected to compete in a 24-hour online Designathon held from 19th December 11:00 PM to 20th December 11:00 PM . During this period, participants actively developed their solutions while being closely monitored and guided by the organizing committee. On 21st December , the finalists presented their solutions at the GP Square Auditorium, IIT. Each team showcased their designs and ideas, followed by an interactive Q&A session where the judging panel evaluated their concepts, execution, and overall impact. Final judge panel included; Mr. Ishfaak Sadikeen - Head of UI/UX, VR/XR UI Lead, Consultant - UI/UX Mr. Hiran Karunananda - Technical UX Lead at Ascentic Mr. Mino Galawatta - Associate Lead of UX Design at Atmoz Mr. Atheek Ahamath - Technical Lead – UI/UX at Allion Technologies At the conclusion of the event, the top three teams were selected based on the strength of their concepts, innovation, and presentation. The event successfully highlighted creativity, problem-solving abilities, and practical design thinking among participants. And then the final top 3 teams were chosen; 2nd Runners Up - Chicken Nuggets from Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) 1st Runners Up - Team Vertex from University of Kelaniya Winners - Team Destroyed Pixels from University of Colombo
