The IEEE Student Branch of NIBM successfully conducted "Pixel Peak," a three-day Multimedia Bootcamp Series organized in collaboration with Clan B. The online bootcamp series was held via Google Meet from 9th May to 11th May , providing participants with valuable exposure to creativity, animation, and motion design within the multimedia industry. The first day of the bootcamp featured a session on "Creativeness in the Industry," conducted by Mr. James Balmond under the topic "How to Still Be Creative in the Industry." The session focused on maintaining creativity and originality within fast-evolving creative industries while sharing practical industry perspectives and experiences with the participants. The second day was conducted by Mr. Renuka Dissanayake and focused on "Animation & Motion Design" under the topic "Practicing Motion Design with Examples." Participants were introduced to motion design concepts, creative workflows, and practical examples that demonstrated how motion graphics and animation techniques are applied in real-world projects. The final day of the bootcamp consisted of a project-based design competition organized by Clan B, where participants were challenged to apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the sessions. Participants showcased their creativity and technical abilities through an exciting design challenge, with the top-performing submissions earning an exclusive industry visit opportunity to Clan B for further exposure to the professional creative industry environment. Following the competition, the top three winners were recognized for their outstanding creativity and exceptional performance throughout the challenge. Pabasara Ranasinghe secured 1st Place , Sithumini Anuhansi was awarded 2nd Place , and Aadil Atheefa earned 3rd Place . Their achievements reflected the innovative ideas, technical skills, and dedication demonstrated during the competition, making them deserving recipients of this recognition. Overall, the bootcamp series served as an engaging learning experience that encouraged creativity, practical skill development, and industry exposure among participants interested in multimedia and design-related fields. The recognition of the competition winners further celebrated the talent showcased throughout the event while inspiring participants to continue developing their creative and technical skills.
