Cambio Workshop 5 was conducted as an engaging and educational session aimed at introducing participants to foundational concepts in both computing and chemistry through an integrated learning approach. The workshop commenced at 9:00 AM with a brief introduction to Cambio, setting the context for the day’s activities and objectives. The session explored the history of computing, providing participants with an understanding of how technology has evolved over time, followed by an introduction to basic chemistry concepts and their relevance in modern technological applications. These topics were delivered in a combined and simplified manner, making it easier for participants to grasp interdisciplinary connections. With a total of 14 participants, the workshop maintained a highly interactive and personalised learning environment, allowing for greater engagement, discussions, and hands-on understanding. Activities and discussions were incorporated throughout the session to reinforce learning and encourage participation. The workshop successfully concluded at 1:00 PM, with participants gaining valuable insights into both computing and chemistry, as well as an appreciation for how these fields intersect in real-world applications.
