The IEEE Student Branch of SLIIT , co-hosted by the IEEE Industry Applications Society Student Chapter of SLIIT , successfully conducted Day 2 of the Industry Visit to Atlas Labs under the Path to Internship ’26 initiative. Day 2 continued to provide students with meaningful industry exposure and deeper insight into real-world engineering operations. Participants were guided through Atlas Labs’ working environment and gained a clearer understanding of how innovative ideas are transformed into practical, market-ready technological solutions. The visit highlighted important areas such as CNC technology, embedded systems, manufacturing workflows, testing procedures, and integrated product development strategies. Students were also able to interact with professionals, ask questions, and observe how teamwork, innovation, and technical precision contribute to successful engineering outcomes. This session was both productive and inspiring, enabling participants to appreciate the connection between academic learning and industrial practice while encouraging them to explore future opportunities in engineering and technology.
