The CyberQuest Selection Round served as the first major competitive phase of the initiative, attracting a highly engaged and diverse pool of participants from across the country. The event witnessed over 270 participants forming more than 85 teams representing 15+ universities, highlighting its strong national reach and appeal. Conducted as a one-hour online Capture The Flag (CTF) challenge via the Official Legion CTF Platform, the round tested participants on their logical thinking, technical knowledge, and cybersecurity instincts. Participants were required to solve a series of challenges under strict time constraints, fostering a competitive and high-pressure environment. The selection process was designed to identify the most skilled and strategic teams, with only the top 25 teams qualifying for the CyberQuest Grand Finale. The intensity of the competition, combined with the scale of participation, made this round a key milestone in the CyberQuest journey.
