CyberQuest Workshop 02, titled “The Attacker Mindset – An Offensive Security Breakdown,” provided participants with an in-depth understanding of offensive cybersecurity techniques. The session was conducted online by Mr. Samuel Abraham, Red Team Engineer at OREL IT. The workshop explored how ethical hackers analyze and approach systems, focusing on concepts such as reconnaissance, attack paths, and exploitation techniques. Participants were guided through the mindset of an attacker, enabling them to understand vulnerabilities from a practical perspective. By simulating real-world attack scenarios and discussing industry practices, the session bridged the gap between theory and practical application. It allowed participants to enhance their analytical thinking and gain insights into how security professionals identify and mitigate threats.
