Episode 02 of the Gear Up Series continued with an engaging industry visit to Dockyard PLC. The visit provided students with a rare opportunity to experience one of Sri Lanka’s largest and most advanced engineering and maritime facilities firsthand. Throughout the session, participants were introduced to the large-scale operations involved in shipbuilding, ship repair, heavy engineering, and industrial project management. Students explored how multiple engineering disciplines come together in real-world applications while gaining valuable insights into industrial safety practices, engineering workflows, precision manufacturing, and modern maritime technologies.
