The Excom x Advisor meeting began with a formal introduction session where all Executive Committee members introduced themselves to the Chapter Advisor to establish the leadership structure. A major point of discussion was the SLIIT Lumova 2 event, a CSR project which our PES chapter has been invited to join; the committee noted that if the chapter can afford the necessary funds, they will collaborate by helping to reach out for and secure sponsorships. Additionally, the chapter is launching a new Monthly Graduate Program conducted in a hybrid format. This program will feature university graduates as speakers to provide training, job support, and insights into industry trends, specifically focusing on skills undergraduates might otherwise miss. Regarding new initiatives, the committee is targeting the PES MDI Call 2 to apply for funding for a one-day event focused on Energy Management. This event is planned to include two knowledge-sharing sessions in the morning and a technical workshop with lab access in the afternoon, scheduled for a Saturday that is not a long weekend. To build up the PES USJ treasury, the committee also proposed marketing initiatives such as pre-ordering PES T-shirts and organizing food stalls. For administrative and financial clarity, it was established that all funding or payment requests must be sent via email with the Chapter Advisor CC'd. A formal project proposal must be delivered to the Advisor before any funds are applied for or utilized. To improve engagement within the standing committees, the "Volunteer of the Month" program will be implemented.
