PRESTIGE Volume 2 is the second edition of the PRESTIGE event series organized by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) Student Branch Chapter of the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT). The series aims to provide students with industry-focused exposure to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and emerging computational technologies through workshops, networking opportunities, and knowledge-sharing sessions. The first workshop of PRESTIGE Volume 2 was conducted on 4 April 2026 under the theme “The Rise of AI and the Power of Data.” The session was delivered by Mr. Anjula Paulus, Lead Software Engineer at Limark Technologies . The workshop introduced participants to the fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, while also providing an overview of the Machine Learning lifecycle, including data collection, data cleaning, and data processing techniques used in AI systems. Participants further explored the growing importance of data in modern intelligent systems and gained exposure to the fundamentals of Large Language Models (LLMs), effective prompting techniques, and real-world industry applications of AI technologies. Through the interactive knowledge-sharing session, participants developed a stronger foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence and its practical relevance across modern technological solutions.

PRESTIGE VOL 2 – Workshop 01: Event Agenda 09:00 AM - 09:30 AM | Registration Opens Guests arrive and register for the event. 09:30 AM - 09:40 AM | Welcome Speech & Introduction to PRESTIGE Volume 2 The event begins with a welcome speech and an introduction to the PRESTIGE Volume 2 workshop series. 09:40 AM - 11:15 AM | Session Begins The main session commences with the invited speaker’s presentation on “The Rise of AI and the Power of Data.” 11:15 AM - 11:25 AM | Interactive Q&A Session Participants engage with the speaker through questions and discussions related to AI, Machine Learning, and data-driven technologies. 11:25 AM - 11:30 AM | Token of Appreciation Presentation A special thank-you note is delivered to the speaker, followed by the presentation of a token of appreciation. 11:30 AM - 11:45 PM | Refreshments & Networking Session Participants engage in networking and discussions while refreshments are served. 11:45 PM | Closing Remarks Concluding comments and acknowledgments from the organizing committee. 11:45 PM | CIS Membership QR Code Display & Group Photo Participants are invited to scan the CIS membership QR code and join the group photo session.
