Session Introduction Path Forward 3.0 - 2026 is an initiative organized by the IEEE Women in Engineering Student Branch Affinity Group of the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka with the aim of guiding undergraduate students towards emerging career opportunities in the IT industry. As the first session of the series, the Quality Assurance Session is designed to provide participants with practical exposure to the role of Quality Assurance within the software industry, essential industry practices, required technical and soft skills, and career opportunities available within the field. The session will create an interactive platform for undergraduate students to engage with industry professionals and gain valuable insights into real-world Quality Assurance practices. 2. Knowledge Partner Creative Software Pvt Ltd. Creative Software Pvt Ltd. joins Path Forward 3.0 - 2026 as the Knowledge Partner for the Quality Assurance Session. Through this collaboration, the initiative aims to empower undergraduate students by providing industry exposure, professional insights, and practical knowledge related to the Quality Assurance field. The partnership reflects a shared commitment towards supporting the next generation of technology professionals through learning, mentorship, and career guidance. Session Flow 5.1 Opening & Welcome The session will commence with a formal welcome by the organizing team, outlining the objectives and agenda of the session. 5.2 Resource Person Introduction A brief introduction of the invited professional will be delivered, highlighting their expertise and industry experience. 5.3 Professional Experience Sharing & Domain Discussion The resource person will share insights into their career journey, industry exposure, practical experiences, current industry trends, required skills, tools and technologies, and career opportunities within the Quality Assurance domain. A structured discussion will also be conducted focusing on real-world QA practices, industry expectations, and guidance for students interested in pursuing careers in Quality Assurance. 5.4 Interactive Q&A A structured discussion will be conducted focusing on industry trends, required skills, tools and technologies, and career opportunities related to Quality Assurance. 5.5 Session Summary Participants will be given the opportunity to directly engage with the resource person through questions and discussions. 5.6 Appreciation & Session Closing The moderator will summarize the key insights and important learning points discussed during the session. 5.7 Closing Remarks A formal vote of thanks will be delivered, followed by the presentation of a token of appreciation and official closing remarks.
