The Executive Committee Meeting No. 03 of the IEEE Sri Lanka Section Computer Society Chapter for the year 2026 was successfully held on 20th May 2026 at 9.00 p.m. via Zoom as an online meeting. The meeting brought together Executive Committee members to review the progress of ongoing activities, discuss updates from the Chapter subcommittees, and coordinate future plans and initiatives for the year 2026. The meeting also served as a platform for monitoring the implementation of planned activities and strengthening collaboration among the different subcommittees of the Chapter. The following agenda items were discussed during the meeting: Confirmation of the Minutes of the Previous Meeting Matters Arising from the Previous Meeting Updates on Subcommittee Activities: Event proposals and updates on conducted activities by the respective coordinators of: Student Chapters and Student Activities Educational Activities Industry Relations Professional Activities Membership Development Editorial Committee Young Professionals Women in Computing IEEE Sri Lanka Cyber Security Group Financial updates and budget planning Any other matters During the meeting, subcommittee coordinators shared updates on completed and upcoming activities, including technical events, professional development programs, student engagement initiatives, and collaborative activities with academia and industry.
