The Organizing Committee Finalizing Meeting for Career Gateway 1.0 , the inaugural job fair organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura , was held on 29th May with the participation of the IEEE Student Branch Executive Committee and the Event Executive Committee . The meeting was conducted to finalize the organizing committee members following the interview process held for the event. During the discussion, the interview outcomes, applicants’ skills, preferred areas of contribution, availability, and suitability for each team were carefully reviewed. The participants discussed the formation of the organizing committee structure and ensured that members were allocated to suitable teams based on their strengths and the requirements of the event. Key areas such as team-wise member selection, responsibility allocation, coordination process, and next steps of the organizing phase were also discussed. The meeting helped ensure that the organizing committee was formed in a fair, structured, and effective manner, supporting the smooth planning and execution of Career Gateway 1.0. This finalizing meeting marked an important milestone in the event preparation process by establishing a dedicated organizing team to contribute toward the successful implementation of Career Gateway 1.0.
