The IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) Student Branch Chapter, University of Jaffna , in collaboration with MDTU , conducted a two-day workshop titled “Enhancing Administrative Effectiveness through Artificial Intelligence for Government Officers” on 02–03 June 2026 . Held at the Computer Laboratories, Department of Computer Science, University of Jaffna , the program focused on Generative AI , workplace integration , and productivity automation . Participants explored tools such as ChatGPT , Google Gemini , GPTExcel , NotebookLM , and Gamma AI to streamline administrative workflows and strengthen decision-making . The sessions combined lectures , demonstrations , and hands-on practice , with strong engagement from government officers driving digital transformation through AI-powered solutions .
