Introduction to J'Pura Xtreme The project chairperson welcomed all attendees and provided an overview of J'Pura Xtreme 3.0. Key points discussed: J'Pura Xtreme is a competitive programming hackathon initiated two years ago. The project has primarily focused on inter-university participation in previous editions. This year, the project will be expanded to include school students in addition to university students. The competition will be conducted under two separate categories, allowing both school and university participants to compete within their respective divisions. 2. Competition Structure The proposed competition format was presented and discussed. Key decisions included: The competition will consist of two rounds. The first round will be conducted online and is tentatively scheduled for the 2nd or 3rd week of August. The second round will be conducted physically and is tentatively scheduled for the 2nd or 3rd week of September. For each category, the top 10 teams will qualify for the final round. 3. Organizing Committee Introductions Following the project briefing, all Organizing Committee members introduced themselves and shared their backgrounds and interests. 4. Organizing Committee Structure The committee structure for J'Pura Xtreme was introduced. The project will consist of the following committees: Programming Committee - Web Programming Committee - Quiz Finance Committee Design & Marketing Committee Logistics Committee Additional responsibilities and committee-specific tasks will be communicated in future meetings. 5. Expectations and Commitment Emphasized the importance of dedication and teamwork throughout the project lifecycle. Members were requested to: Maintain active participation in committee activities. Fulfill assigned responsibilities on time. Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving the project. Demonstrate full commitment towards the successful execution of J'Pura Xtreme. 6. Open Discussion Members were encouraged to share suggestions and ideas regarding the competition format, participant engagement, promotional activities, and overall project execution. Action Items Finalize the competition timeline and round structure. Confirm committee member allocations and responsibilities. Begin planning for participant outreach and promotions. Collect suggestions and recommendations from OC members. Schedule committee-specific meetings for detailed planning. Meeting Adjourned.
