The Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026 of the IEEE Uva Wellassa University Student Branch was held on 19th March 2026 at the Technology Auditorium, Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka. The event brought together academic staff members, student members, and the outgoing executive committee to review the activities of the past year and commence a new term. The meeting was attended by academic staff members from the Faculty of Applied Sciences, including the Dean of the Faculty, Heads of Departments, the Student Branch Counsellor, and Chapter Advisors. During the session, the outgoing Executive Committee presented a comprehensive overview of their activities, events, financial reports, and achievements from the previous term, covering the Student Branch, its technical chapters, and affinity group. The newly elected Executive Committee for 2026 was officially appointed during the meeting. The incoming members introduced themselves and shared their vision, goals, and planned initiatives for the upcoming year. The academic staff members also addressed the gathering, providing valuable guidance and encouraging the committee to continue fostering innovation, leadership, and active member engagement. The meeting concluded with a networking session that enabled students and faculty members to exchange ideas, strengthen professional relationships, and further enhance the IEEE community at Uva Wellassa University.
