Annual General Meeting - IEEE Student Branch University of Ruhuna - Term 2025/26

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026 of the IEEE Student Branch, University of Ruhuna, was successfully held at the IS Seminar Room of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna. The AGM served as the official forum to review the accomplishments of the previous term, present and approve the annual budget, and elect the Executive Committee for the 2025/2026 term. The meeting was attended by academic staff, IEEE members, and students representing different academic years. The agenda included the presentation of the previous AGM minutes, annual budget review, constitution presentation, a flashback of activities conducted during the previous year, election of new office bearers, presentation of the year plan for the upcoming term, guest remarks, and the vote of thanks. During the meeting, a new Executive Committee was elected for the IEEE Student Branch and its affiliated chapters and affinity groups. The newly appointed Chairman presented the strategic plan for the upcoming year, outlining future initiatives and opportunities for member engagement. The event concluded successfully with the official appointment of the new office bearers and best wishes for a productive and impactful term ahead.
