IEEE International Electrical Engineering Conference (IEEE IEEC 2026) The IEEE International Electrical Engineering Conference (IEEE IEEC 2026) is the twelfth edition of a well-established international forum dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and professional collaboration in the fields of electrical and electronic engineering. The conference is jointly organized by NED University of Engineering & Technology , the Institution of Engineers Pakistan , and the University of Peradeniya . It will be held on 17–18 October 2026 at the University of Peradeniya in a hybrid format, enabling both in-person and virtual participation. The conference theme, “International Collaboration for Global Progress: Towards a Sustainable and Connected Future,” highlights the importance of global partnerships in addressing emerging technological and sustainability challenges. IEEE IEEC 2026 aims to bring together researchers, academics, industry professionals, policymakers, and students from around the world to exchange ideas, present cutting-edge research findings, and foster international collaborations. The conference welcomes original research contributions in a wide range of areas, including renewable energy technologies, power systems and instrumentation, control and robotics engineering, telecommunications, software engineering, and emerging quantum technologies. Through keynote speeches, technical sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, IEEE IEEC 2026 seeks to promote innovation and support the development of sustainable and intelligent engineering solutions for the future. A significant milestone of this edition is its status as the first internationally collaborative IEEC, strengthening academic and research ties between Pakistan and Sri Lanka while expanding the global reach of the conference. Accepted papers are expected to be considered for publication through the IEEE conference publication process, subject to IEEE requirements and final approval.
