The University of Jaffna IEEE Student Branch successfully conducted Techcelerate: AI-Powered Workplace – Boosting Productivity with Generative AI for the staff of the District Secretariat, Jaffna, on 04 June 2026 from 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM at CSL 1 & 2, Department of Computer Science, University of Jaffna . The workshop focused on Generative AI applications for workplace productivity, covering prompt engineering, AI-powered office tools, data analysis, collaborative workspaces, and responsible AI usage. Through interactive sessions and practical demonstrations led by Prof. M. Siyamalan, Dr. T. Kokul, and Dr. R. Nirthika, participants gained valuable insights into leveraging AI to enhance administrative efficiency and decision-making.
