SkillBridge'26, organized by the IEEE Student Branch of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, was an academic support initiative designed to assist 1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-year undergraduates of the Faculty of Computing in their preparation for the End Semester Examinations. The project aimed to enhance students' understanding of key subject areas through focused revision and peer-assisted learning. Conducted from 04th May to 09th May 2026 , with a final session held on 29th May 2026 , the program comprised 17 online revision sessions covering a range of subjects across all three academic years. The selected subjects were identified based on student requirements and academic relevance, ensuring comprehensive support during the examination period. Each session was facilitated by experienced senior students and high-performing peers who provided concise explanations of key concepts, examination-focused guidance, effective study techniques, and interactive problem-solving opportunities. Supplementary learning materials and discussion segments further enhanced the learning experience. SkillBridge'26 successfully created a collaborative platform for knowledge sharing and academic support, receiving enthusiastic participation from students across the Faculty of Computing. The initiative further demonstrated the IEEE Student Branch's commitment to fostering academic excellence, peer mentorship, and student development.
