The session opened with a welcoming address by the PES Student Branch Chapter Chairperson, Chethiya Jayasekara, who highlighted organizational strengths, prospective project challenges, and the core purpose of Nexora 1.0. Following this, the rest of the PES Executive Committee (ExCo) members were formally introduced to the team. The meeting then transitioned into a major focus on membership development. The ExCo delivered an insightful briefing on the foundational value of IEEE and active PES memberships, emphasizing professional benefits, global networking opportunities, skill acquisition, and career development. Following the membership brief, the comprehensive 17-member committee structure was officially revealed to the audience based on final interview assessments, naming the designated positions for the Event Chair and Co-Chair. Finally, the meeting concluded with a detailed breakdown of operational tasks. Portfolios were explained systematically, outlining the specific duties of the Core Chairs (Chair and Co-Chair), the Committee Heads, and individual Committee Members across the four specialized operational sub-committees.
