IEEE SLInspire - Northern Province Career Compass Session -2026

Description

The IEEE Sri Lanka Inspire Career Compass Session - Northern Province was organized to provide students with career guidance and awareness of higher education opportunities and diverse career pathways , mainly targeting Grade 10 and 11 students. On J une 27, 2026, the session was successfully conducted from around 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the CSL Auditorium, Faculty of Science, University of Jaffna, with approximately 125 students and teachers from 14 schools across the Northern Province . The program included career guidance sessions, motivational talks, interactive Q&A discussions, and engaging activities focused on higher education, career planning, and emerging career opportunities. The session encouraged students to explore career options aligned with their interests and skills while addressing common misconceptions and supporting informed decision-making. The successful collaboration between IEEE Sri Lanka Inspire National Project and the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Jaffna contributed to delivering a meaningful and impactful experience for the participating students and teachers.
