Description
The monthly meeting of the IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Group of SLTC for June was successfully conducted with the active participation of both Executive Committee (Ex-Com) and Sub-Committee (Sub-Com) members. As this marked the final month of service for the current WIE Executive Committee, the meeting held special significance as an opportunity to reflect on the journey and achievements of the team throughout their tenure. The meeting commenced with a warm welcome from the Chairperson, who expressed appreciation for the dedication, commitment, and contributions of all members during the past term. Members then revisited the various projects, events, and initiatives successfully carried out under the Affinity Group, highlighting the impact created through teamwork, leadership, and active engagement in promoting the mission and values of IEEE WIE. In addition, discussions were held regarding the transition to the incoming Executive Committee. Members reviewed and discussed the allocation of positions and responsibilities within the new WIE Executive Committee to ensure a smooth handover and continuity of ongoing activities. The meeting concluded with gratitude for the accomplishments of the outgoing committee and best wishes for the success of the newly appointed leadership team.
