May 11, 2026 at 6:30 PM - May 30, 2026 at 6:29 PM @ Online event
Description
The primary goal of HackElite 3.0 is to empower undergraduate students, particularly women in engineering and technology, by providing hands-on experience in developing innovative software and hardware solutions to real-world challenges. Phase 1 of HackElite 3.0 was successfully launched with registrations open to all undergraduates across Sri Lanka from 16th April to 10th May 2026. Teams were encouraged to consist of 3-4 members, with at least two female participants in each team, promoting greater female representation in engineering and technology. The initiative received an overwhelming response, attracting over 150 teams, more than 550 individual registrations, including 368 female participants. To support participants in preparing high-quality submissions, the official Proposal Template and Submission Guidelines for HackElite 3.0 were released through the official HackElite 3.0 website. Following the registration period, proposal submissions were accepted from 12th May to 30th May 2026, during which participating teams presented innovative software and hardware solutions addressing real-world challenges across the competition's specified domains. This phase established a strong foundation for the competition by fostering creativity, teamwork, innovation, and problem-solving skills among undergraduate students while promoting diversity and inclusion in engineering and technology.
