The IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) Student Branch Chapter of South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL) is organizing an introductory awareness session to officially introduce IEEE IES and its role in shaping modern industrial technologies. This session is designed to provide participants with a clear understanding of Industrial Electronics, its applications, and the global opportunities available through IEEE IES. The program will focus on key technical domains such as industrial automation, robotics, power electronics, embedded systems, industrial IoT, artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, and Industry 4.0/5.0 technologies. Participants will also be introduced to the IEEE IES Student Branch Chapter – SEUSL, its vision, mission, and planned activities aimed at developing technical skills, research culture, and industry readiness among students. This session aims to inspire students to engage in industrial innovation, hands-on technical learning, and global IEEE IES opportunities.
