The IEEE Student Branch of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (IEEE SB USJ) and the IEEE Student Branch of K.S. School of Engineering and Management (IEEE SB KSSEM), successfully conducted a joint Executive Committee planning meeting to organize a collaborative two-session online webinar series on Entrepreneurship and Innovation . During the meeting, executive committee members from both student branches engaged in productive discussions regarding the overall structure and objectives of the webinar series. Key areas of discussion included identifying relevant and impactful session topics, proposing suitable dates and timelines, exploring potential speakers from academia and industry, defining the responsibilities of each organizing committee, and planning promotional and logistical activities to ensure the success of the event. The meeting also emphasized fostering stronger collaboration between IEEE Student Branches within IEEE Region 10 by encouraging cross-border teamwork, knowledge exchange, and the sharing of best practices in event organization. Participants actively contributed ideas and recommendations to create an engaging webinar series that would benefit students interested in entrepreneurship, innovation, and emerging technologies. Overall, the meeting laid a strong foundation for the successful execution of the upcoming webinar series while strengthening professional relationships and networking opportunities between the executive committees of both student branches.
