PRESTIGE Volume 2 is the second edition of the PRESTIGE event series organized by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) Student Branch Chapter of the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT), aimed at providing students with industry exposure in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and emerging technologies through knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops. The second workshop of PRESTIGE Volume 2 was conducted on 12 May 2026 under the theme “Beyond the Prompt: Ethics and Careers in the AI Era.” The workshop featured industry sessions delivered by professionals from Aeturnum, focusing on responsible AI adoption, AI ethics, governance, and the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence in modern software development. The sessions explored critical aspects of AI implementation, including risks in modern AI systems such as bias, privacy concerns, deepfakes, hallucinated logic, and prompt injection attacks. Participants gained insights into the importance of governance, security measures, and human oversight in AI-assisted development workflows. The workshop also introduced ethical AI adoption across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), industry governance practices, and awareness of the ISO/IEC 42001 standard for AI management systems. Furthermore, the sessions highlighted current trends in AI adoption across industries and the essential skills required for future careers in the AI era, including prompt engineering, cloud fundamentals, API integration, debugging, and critical thinking. Through practical examples and industry insights, participants developed a deeper understanding of both the opportunities and responsibilities involved in building and deploying trustworthy AI solutions in the modern technology landscape.
