The IT Industry Awareness Program was organized by the IEEE Student Branch of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka with the objective of enhancing students' understanding of the rapidly evolving Information Technology industry and preparing them for future professional careers. The program served as a platform to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations by providing participants with valuable insights into current technology trends, career pathways and the competencies required to excel in the modern workplace. During the session, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the IT industry's current landscape, emerging technologies and future opportunities.
