Description

As part of ENGINUITY 3.0, the second technical session titled "From Zero to Cloud: Introduction to Cloud & Designing a Metro E-Ticketing System on AWS" was successfully conducted on 3rd of July 2026 by Mr. Anjana Pathirana, Software Engineer at Krane. The session provided participants with valuable insights into the fundamentals of cloud computing and demonstrated how cloud technologies can be applied to develop real-world solutions through the design of a metro e-ticketing system using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Participants gained practical knowledge on cloud-based architectures, system design approaches, and the role of cloud platforms in building scalable and efficient digital solutions. The session concluded successfully, enhancing participants' understanding of modern cloud technologies and their applications in solving real-world engineering challenges, marking another significant milestone in the ENGINUITY 3.0 journey.
