IEEE SB KSSEM × IEEE SB USJ Strategic Collaboration Meeting

The IEEE Student Branch of K. S. School of Engineering and Management (KSSEM), India, conducted a strategic collaboration meeting with the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ), Sri Lanka, to strengthen inter-Student Branch relations and explore opportunities for future joint technical and professional activities. The meeting was attended by the Executive Committee members of both Student Branches, along with the IEEE KSSEM Student Branch Counselor. The meeting commenced with an introduction of the Executive Committee members from both Student Branches, providing an opportunity to familiarize themselves with their respective teams and leadership. The discussion then focused on planning collaborative initiatives, with both Student Branches agreeing to organize a joint webinar series as part of the partnership. Detailed discussions were held regarding the structure and execution of the webinar series, including the hosting responsibilities, event schedule, online platform, target participants, promotional strategies, speaker coordination, and overall event management. It was mutually agreed that the first webinar would be hosted by the IEEE University of Sri Jayewardenepura Student Branch, while the second webinar would be hosted by the IEEE KSSEM Student Branch, with both Student Branches jointly supporting participant outreach and event promotion. The meeting concluded with the successful finalization of the partnership and a shared commitment to organizing the webinar series. This collaboration marks the beginning of an international partnership aimed at promoting knowledge sharing, networking, and professional development among IEEE members of both institutions.
