Coordination Meeting for the WSO2 Industry Visit – Career Gateway 1.0

The IEEE Student Branch of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura conducted a coordination meeting with representatives from WSO2 in preparation for the upcoming WSO2 Industry Visit , organized as a key component of Career Gateway 1.0 . Career Gateway 1.0 is the flagship career engagement initiative of IEEE SB USJ, designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry through career development sessions, industry visits, and networking opportunities. As part of this initiative, the WSO2 Industry Visit aims to provide participants with first-hand exposure to the software industry, workplace culture, and modern technology practices. The meeting was attended by members of the IEEE SB USJ Executive Committee, the Career Gateway 1.0 Event Executive Committee, and representatives from WSO2. Discussions focused on finalizing the visit agenda, participant management, logistics, registration procedures, security protocols, and communication channels. Both teams reviewed operational requirements and assigned responsibilities to ensure the successful execution of the visit. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to delivering a meaningful and professionally organized industry experience, further strengthening the collaboration between IEEE SB USJ and WSO2 while supporting the objectives of Career Gateway 1.0.
