Career Compass 2026 is a collaborative initiative organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in partnership with IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka (IEEE YP SL) . Fully sponsored and financially supported by SLI , this signature project is specifically tailored to guide Ordinary Level (O/L) school students through the pivotal transition phase of their education. The primary objective of this project is to demystify future academic and career paths, offering young minds an insightful glimpse into university life, diverse professional domains, and emerging technology fields. Through interactive sessions led by experienced industry professionals and academic peers, the event aims to instill strong motivation, cultivate essential soft skills, and provide structured mentorship to help school students map out their future paths with confidence.
