The IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) Student Branch Chapter of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka successfully conducted RoboGensis Session 01: Fundamentals of Electronics and Robotics Engineering to introduce students to the core concepts of electronics and robotics. The session aimed to provide attendees with a strong foundation in robotics engineering while encouraging them to explore emerging technologies in automation. The session was delivered by Mr. Husni Mohamed , Lecturer (Probationary), Department of ICT, and Mr. T. Kugaranan , Lecturer (Probationary), Department of EET, Faculty of Technology, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. The speakers discussed the fundamentals of electronic components, circuits, sensors, and robotics systems, highlighting their practical applications and the growing role of automation across various industries. The event also featured an interactive discussion and Q&A session, providing attendees with the opportunity to clarify concepts and gain deeper insights into robotics, electronics, and automation. As the inaugural session of the RoboGensis series, the event successfully laid the foundation for future learning experiences, inspiring students to further explore robotics and automation technologies.
