Final OC Meeting - Career Gateway 1.0

The Final Organizing Committee Meeting for Career Gateway 1.0 was successfully conducted by the IEEE Student Branch University of Sri Jayewardenepura with the participation of the Organizing Committee members, IEEE Student Branch EXCOM, and representatives from the collaborating IEEE chapters and affinity groups. The meeting served as the concluding planning session prior to the execution of Career Gateway 1.0, focusing on reviewing the overall event progress and ensuring operational readiness. Key discussions included the final event agenda, venue setup, stall allocation, volunteer deployment, registration procedures, participant flow, logistics, branding, media coverage, protocol arrangements, and contingency planning. The committee also reviewed the responsibilities assigned to each team, confirmed timelines, and addressed any remaining concerns to ensure seamless coordination on the event day. Additionally, updates regarding participating companies, industry partners, and the successful completion of the initiative's previous phases—including the online career development sessions and industry field visits—were reviewed. The meeting concluded with a final briefing to align all organizing committee members on their responsibilities and reinforce effective communication and teamwork. The session ensured that all organizational, logistical, and operational aspects of Career Gateway 1.0 were finalized, enabling the organizing committee to confidently deliver a well-coordinated and impactful career engagement initiative.
