The IEEE Student Branch of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka successfully organized ROUTEX 1.0 , an introductory technical session focused on the fundamentals of Computer Networking and Cybersecurity. The session aimed to provide participants with a strong foundation in networking concepts while introducing key cybersecurity principles that are essential in today's digital world. The event offered valuable insights into networking technologies, routing concepts, communication protocols, network architecture, and current cybersecurity challenges. Participants also gained an understanding of industry expectations, career opportunities in networking and cybersecurity, and the practical skills required to excel in these rapidly evolving fields.
