Pathway to Entrepreneurship – Session 01: Is Entrepreneurship All About Money?

The IEEE Student Branch of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura , in collaboration with the IEEE Student Branch of K.S. School of Engineering and Management (KSSEM) proudly presents the first session of the Pathway to Entrepreneurship – Entrepreneurship Webinar Series . This international collaboration brings together IEEE Student Branches from IEEE Region 10 to provide students with valuable insights into entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership. The webinar series is designed to bridge the gap between technical expertise and entrepreneurial thinking by connecting participants with experienced industry leaders and successful entrepreneurs. The inaugural session, titled "Is Entrepreneurship All About Money?" , by Eng. Tharindu Suraj, was an immense success and concluded with more than 350 participants from both countries. This session aimed to challenge common misconceptions surrounding entrepreneurship while exploring the true motivations, challenges, and rewards of building successful ventures. The session also serves as an excellent platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and strengthening international collaboration among IEEE Student Branchs within Region 10.
