The student workshop “Get your Grit Together” was held on 21 July 2026 , from 2.00 PM to 3.00 PM , at the Auditorium, Department of Computer Science, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka , organized by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Student Branch Chapter in collaboration with the IEEE CIS Sri Lanka Section Chapter. Led by Ms. Alexandra Blank , Study Coach at the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science (LIACS), Universiteit Leiden, The Netherlands, the session introduced students to the concepts of growth mindset and resilience , helping them understand how mindset influences academic success and equipping them with strategies to cope with challenges, overcome setbacks, and build grit for personal and educational development.
