IEEE EXCELLENCIA 2026 – Volunteer Appreciation & Awards Ceremony was organized to celebrate and recognize the outstanding dedication, commitment, and achievements of the volunteers who contributed to the success of the IEEE Student Branch, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, throughout the 2024/2025 term . The ceremony served as a platform to appreciate the tireless efforts of the Executive Committee, chapter officers, organizing committee members, and volunteers whose passion and commitment enabled the Student Branch to successfully organize numerous technical, professional, and humanitarian initiatives during the year. Certificates and tokens of appreciation were presented to volunteers in recognition of their valuable service and contributions. The ceremony also included a special recognition segment where the Outstanding Volunteer of the Year award was presented to an exceptional volunteer who demonstrated exemplary leadership, commitment, initiative, and dedication throughout the term. Special tokens of appreciation were also presented to the Branch Counselor, Chapter Advisors, and other distinguished individuals in recognition of their continuous guidance, mentorship, and unwavering support towards the growth and success of the Student Branch. The ceremony concluded by celebrating the collective achievements of the Student Branch while inspiring members to continue embracing volunteerism, leadership, and excellence in IEEE.
