The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the IEEE Student Branch, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, was successfully conducted to formally conclude the 2024/2025 term and commence the new administrative year. The AGM brought together student members, Branch Counselors, Chapter Advisors, IEEE Sri Lanka Section representatives, faculty members, and invited guests. The meeting commenced with a welcome address, followed by speeches from distinguished guests, including representatives from the IEEE Sri Lanka Section, who shared valuable insights and encouraged members to continue their active engagement with IEEE. As part of the official proceedings, the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting were presented and approved, followed by the Treasurer's Report summarizing the financial performance of the Student Branch during the concluded term. The newly elected Executive Committee for the 2026/2027 term was then officially introduced to the membership. The newly appointed leadership also presented the Student Branch Year Plan, outlining the vision, strategic objectives, and planned technical, professional, educational, and humanitarian initiatives for the upcoming year. The AGM successfully fulfilled the constitutional requirements of the Student Branch while ensuring a smooth leadership transition and strengthening member engagement for the new term.
