The IEEE PES Student Branch Chapter of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura successfully organized Nexora 1.0, a virtual technical session focused on solar energy systems, photovoltaic technologies, grid integration, and sustainable energy practices. The session explored solar PV simulation, low-voltage design, renewable energy integration into the grid, and power generation, transmission, and distribution systems. Through practical examples and real-world industrial experiences, participants gained valuable insights into clean energy transition and engineering applications in solar energy. An interactive Q&A session further enhanced participant engagement and understanding of career opportunities in the solar and renewable energy sector.
