IEEE Membership Awareness Session 01

Description

IEEE Membership Awareness Session 01 was organized by the IEEE Student Branch, University of Ruhuna to introduce students to the benefits and opportunities of becoming an IEEE member. The session provided an overview of IEEE membership, highlighting the technical, professional, and leadership opportunities available through IEEE at both local and global levels. Participants learned about networking opportunities, volunteering, technical communities, competitions, conferences, scholarships, and the wide range of resources available to IEEE members. Conducted virtually via Zoom, the session encouraged students to begin their IEEE journey by actively engaging with the IEEE Student Branch and making the most of the opportunities offered through IEEE membership.
