CodeFoundry was an online technical workshop series organized by the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, designed for second-year Faculty of Computing undergraduates to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practice. Delivered in collaboration with Zone24x7 (Knowledge Partner), the series covered modern software engineering workflows, collaboration practices, architecture, project planning, and AI's growing role in development. Collaboration: Zone24x7 served as the official Knowledge Partner, providing both resource persons across all three sessions, reflecting a strong industry-academia partnership aimed at preparing students for careers in software engineering.
