RobotNexus 3.0 – Phase 02, Workshop 02 focused on introducing students to the fundamentals of Internet of Things (IoT) and its role in building connected intelligent systems. Conducted as a virtual outreach session, the workshop enabled students from multiple Foundation of Goodness centres to participate and explore modern IoT technologies. The session introduced key IoT concepts including connected devices, sensors, communication methods, and real-world applications of IoT in smart homes, automation, and industry. Through interactive explanations and examples, participants gained insight into how IoT enables communication between physical devices and digital systems. The workshop encouraged students to explore innovative technology solutions while strengthening their understanding of emerging technologies that support the future of robotics and automation.
