RobotNexus 3.0 – Phase 02, Workshop 01 was conducted as a hybrid outreach workshop in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Colombo Infinity and hosted at the Foundation of Goodness. The hybrid format enabled students from 20+ Foundation of Goodness centres across Sri Lanka to participate simultaneously, expanding access to robotics education among students from underprivileged communities nationwide. The workshop focused on introducing the fundamentals of robotics and STEM through engaging presentations, interactive demonstrations, and knowledge-sharing activities. Participants were guided through key concepts in robotics, its real-world applications, and the role of emerging technologies in solving modern challenges. The session aimed to inspire curiosity, encourage innovation, and develop students’ problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. By integrating technology education with community outreach, RobotNexus 3.0 successfully promoted inclusive STEM learning opportunities while reflecting IEEE RAS IIT’s commitment to empowering young learners through robotics and automation.
