Career Fair & Mock Interview

As the flagship physical event of Path to Internship '26 (PTI '26) , the Career Fair & Mock Interview was successfully organized by the IEEE Student Branch of SLIIT in collaboration with the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Student Chapter of SLIIT. The event was designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by providing undergraduate students with direct access to recruiters, industry professionals, and career development opportunities. Participants engaged in networking sessions, career discussions, and one-to-one interactions with company representatives while gaining valuable insights into current recruitment practices. The Mock Interview sessions provided participants with realistic interview experiences and constructive feedback from industry professionals, enabling students to improve their communication skills, interview techniques, and overall confidence before applying for internship opportunities. Through this initiative, students strengthened their professional readiness while building meaningful connections with industry representatives.
